Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Field Data Collector to join our team in Cepu. This role is pivotal in gathering accurate, real‑time data from various field locations to support our analytics, reporting, and strategic decision‑making processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, and observational studies, across assigned districts.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected information by cross‑checking with existing records and performing spot audits.
- Enter and upload data into the central database using mobile applications or handheld devices, ensuring timely submission.
- Maintain organized field logs, photographic evidence, and GPS coordinates for each data point collected.
- Collaborate with the project manager and analytics team to understand data requirements, clarify ambiguities, and suggest improvements to collection methods.
- Adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality protocols while operating in the field.
- Manage a personal schedule to meet daily routes, travel efficiently, and achieve predefined collection targets.
- Provide regular status updates to supervisors, highlighting challenges, weather impacts, or any deviations from the planned itinerary.
- Assist in training new field staff on best practices, equipment usage, and data quality standards.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 40 years.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) – D3/D4 qualification is a plus.
- Prior experience in field collection or similar on‑site data gathering roles is highly preferred.
- Strong target‑orientation with a proven ability to meet or exceed collection quotas.
- Excellent communication skills; able to interact confidently with community members, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Assertive yet respectful demeanor, capable of handling unexpected situations with firmness.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable personal vehicle.
- Basic proficiency in financial management concepts to understand budgetary aspects of field operations.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak collection periods.
