We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Guru Kimia Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Berpengalaman to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in chemistry, a passion for nurturing young minds, and the ability to integrate both modern scientific teaching methods and, where applicable, traditional Islamic educational practices. Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging chemistry lessons for senior high school (grades 10‑12) in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Design laboratory experiments, supervise safety protocols, and evaluate student performance through quizzes, practical exams, and final assessments.
- Incorporate differentiated instruction strategies to support diverse learning styles and varying academic abilities.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and extra‑coaching sessions for students who need additional support.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects that link chemistry with biology, physics, and environmental studies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum review committees.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom activities using the school’s digital management system.
- For Madin (religious) teaching assignments: read and interpret kitab kuning, demonstrate mastery of nahwu‑shorof, and integrate Islamic scientific heritage into lessons.
- Uphold school policies, demonstrate loyalty to institutional values, and serve as a positive role model for students and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry or a related scientific field; a Master’s degree (S2) is preferred.
- Academic credentials should be linear with the teaching position and preferably obtained from a recognized public university (PTN).
- Legal eligibility to work in Indonesia; no conflicting affiliations with other institutions.
- Demonstrated loyalty and commitment to adhere to school regulations and ethical standards.
- For Madin teaching roles:
- Proficiency in reading kitab kuning and solid knowledge of Arabic grammar (nahwu) and morphology (shorof).
- Completion of at least five years of pesantren (Islamic boarding school) education.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and promote scientific literacy.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on timely grading and feedback.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
