Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Teller to join our branch in Tarakan, Kalimantan. As the front‑line representative of our financial institution, the Teller will play a crucial role in delivering fast, accurate, and friendly service to both existing and prospective clients. Responsibilities
- Process daily cash transactions, including loan installment payments, bill settlements, and other customer receipts with strict adherence to banking policies.
- Disburse non‑transfer NDS financing products and manage petty cash withdrawals, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Identify cross‑sell opportunities during each interaction and actively promote fee‑based income programs such as credit cards, savings accounts, and insurance products.
- Handle cash receipt for cross‑sell initiatives, accurately recording and reconciling amounts at the end of each shift.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of bank products, promotional campaigns, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to customers.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) to generate transaction reports, update customer files, and support branch administrative tasks.
- Uphold the highest standards of appearance, honesty, and precision, reflecting the bank’s brand reputation.
- Collaborate with fellow tellers and branch managers to achieve daily and monthly sales targets while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 from any discipline with a GPA of at least 2.50.
- Age: No upper limit, but candidates up to 26 years are preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a banking or financial services environment; experience in teller operations is highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Demonstrated sales orientation, capable of meeting or exceeding cross‑sell and fee‑based income targets.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
