We are a modern motorcycle workshop seeking a dedicated Mekanik Sepeda Motor – Montir & Teknisi to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced technicians, using state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools provided by the shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine light‑service tasks on both carburetor and injection motorcycles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and basic adjustments.
- Utilize the provided scan tools to diagnose and resolve electronic injection system issues efficiently.
- Conduct thorough electrical system testing, interpret multimeter readings, and repair wiring faults, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Execute tune‑ups, CVT adjustments, and major service procedures such as engine overhauls and component replacements.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for parts and labor, and communicate service recommendations clearly to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to shop protocols that prohibit personal tools or equipment from being brought onto the floor.
- Collaborate with fellow mechanics to share knowledge, assist in complex repairs, and uphold the workshop’s reputation for quality service.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with emerging motorcycle technologies and diagnostic software.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a motorcycle mechanic, with proven competence in both carbureted and fuel‑injection systems.
- Strong understanding of motorcycle electrical systems and proficiency with measuring instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Male candidates preferred, with a maximum age of 25 years (though the company values skill over age and encourages all qualified applicants to apply).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
