Introduction
The Sales Force – Solok Area Team is a pivotal role within our regional automotive network, responsible for nurturing dealer relationships, driving product adoption, and supporting the digital transformation of sales processes. Based in the Solok area, the successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between our headquarters, local dealerships, and the broader motor section, ensuring that every dealer is equipped with the knowledge, tools, and motivation needed to meet aggressive sales targets.
This position offers a dynamic blend of field work, strategic coordination, and hands‑on training, making it ideal for ambitious individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment. The role reports directly to the Section Head Motor at the branch level and works closely with marketing, finance, and after‑sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously update the Perjanjian Kerjasama (PKS) agreements with existing dealers, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Proactively identify and onboard new dealers, preparing and executing fresh PKS contracts that align with market opportunities.
- Educate dealers and channel partners on product specifications, promotional programs, and after‑sales support, guaranteeing a deep understanding of our offerings.
- Coordinate daily with the Section Head Motor to align dealership activities with branch objectives, sharing market insights and performance data.
- Conduct on‑site and remote training sessions on the independent purchase order (PO) entry system, enabling dealers to process orders autonomously and efficiently.
- Monitor dealer credit limits, assist in credit assessment processes, and follow up on outstanding payments to safeguard cash flow.
- Collect and analyze sales data, preparing weekly reports that highlight trends, gaps, and opportunities for targeted interventions.
- Support digital sales initiatives by guiding dealers through online platforms, e‑catalogues, and social media marketing tactics.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering feedback to product development teams based on frontline dealer interactions.
- Maintain a professional presence on the road, adhering to the schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00–16:00, and ensuring timely communication via a personal Android smartphone.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s degree) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Age: 21–30 years old, with a maximum limit of 30 years at the time of hiring.
- At least one year of proven experience in dealer management, automotive sales, or a similar sales‑force role.
- Valid motorbike (C) license (SIM C) and personal motorcycle for field visits.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- High integrity, resilience, and a relentless “never‑give‑up” attitude.
- Proficiency with Android smartphones, including the use of messaging apps, email, and mobile CRM tools.
- Demonstrated interest in e‑commerce, digital sales channels, and online marketing strategies.
- Core competencies: credit monitoring, debt collection, negotiation, and effective time management.
