Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Pharmacist to join our dynamic retail pharmacy network. This full‑time position plays a critical role in ensuring that customers receive safe, accurate, and professional pharmaceutical services in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist the senior pharmacist in preparing, verifying, and dispensing prescription medications according to established protocols and Indonesian pharmacy regulations.
- Conduct medication counseling, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug‑drug interactions, to promote optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform routine stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of essential medicines.
- Participate in the preparation of compounded medications when required, adhering to strict aseptic techniques and quality standards.
- Support the pharmacy in handling over‑the‑counter (OTC) sales, providing product recommendations and health advice.
- Ensure all documentation, such as patient profiles, prescription logs, and STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) records, are up‑to‑date and securely stored.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement promotional health campaigns and vaccination drives.
- Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff, sharing best practices for customer service and compliance.
- Participate in regular internal audits and external inspections, addressing any findings promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to occupational health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy (Farmasi).
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Possession of a lifelong STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) issued by the Indonesian Pharmacy Board.
- At least 1 year of experience in an accredited hospital or similar healthcare setting.
- Women applicants must not be pregnant at the time of hiring.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Physical and mental health sufficient to handle long standing periods, frequent lifting of medication boxes, and a fast‑moving retail environment.
