Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our fast‑growing logistics team in the Kapuk Muara area of North Jakarta. The position is a dual‑role that combines the responsibilities of a Picker and a Packer within a dynamic warehouse environment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a hands‑on, fast‑paced setting, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a coordinated team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for processing incoming orders, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring that drivers receive correctly packed parcels on time. The work schedule follows a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM shift, with exact working days to be confirmed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Order Monitoring (Picker): Continuously monitor the system for new orders, verify order details, and print the corresponding inventory (INV) documents.
- Item Retrieval (Picker): Locate and retrieve items from storage locations accurately according to the printed INV order, ensuring that each SKU matches the order specifications.
- Barcode Scanning (Packer): Scan each item’s barcode against the order sheet to confirm correctness and maintain an electronic audit trail.
- Packing & Labeling (Packer): Place items into appropriate packaging, apply protective materials, and affix shipping labels in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
- Driver Coordination (Packer): Use the warehouse management system to notify drivers of ready‑to‑ship parcels, transmit order details, and load packages into drivers’ bags or carts.
- Quality Assurance: Perform final checks for order completeness, correct packaging, and proper documentation before dispatch.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the picking and packing areas tidy, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on workflow bottlenecks and suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum junior high school (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational guidelines).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Core Skills:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision.
- Basic computer literacy for order monitoring and barcode scanning.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout the shift.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication with supervisors, teammates, and drivers.
- Reliability and punctuality – attendance is critical for maintaining delivery timelines.
- Adaptability to work in a fast‑changing environment with fluctuating order volumes.
