Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Pramuniaga Penjualan Produk Retail to join our dynamic team at Meubel Bang Hasyim Tanggul. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers who are looking for quality furniture and home décor. As a sales associate, you will act as the face of our brand, guiding shoppers through product selections, answering inquiries, and ensuring each visit ends with satisfaction and confidence in their purchase.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide detailed explanations of our furniture collections, including materials, dimensions, and care instructions.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by arranging product displays, restocking merchandise, and ensuring promotional signage is up‑to‑date.
- Process transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale system, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts and warranties.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, reporting discrepancies, and coordinating with the warehouse for replenishment.
- Deliver exceptional after‑sales support, including arranging deliveries, addressing product concerns, and facilitating returns or exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Operate company‑provided delivery vehicle when necessary, adhering to traffic regulations and ensuring safe transport of furniture items; maintain a valid SIM A.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to gather customer feedback, identify emerging trends, and suggest product line improvements.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay informed about new product launches, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Uphold store cleanliness and safety standards, including proper handling of heavy items and compliance with health protocols.
- Report daily sales performance and any notable customer interactions to store management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age under 30 years; unmarried candidates are preferred.
- Open to all genders.
- Valid SIM A and willingness to operate a company vehicle for deliveries.
- Strong verbal communication skills; ability to explain product features clearly and confidently.
- Customer‑focused attitude: friendly, responsive, and able to build rapport quickly.
- Professional demeanor: courteous, well‑presented, and confident in interactions.
- Core personal qualities: honesty, discipline, responsibility, and reliability.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Basic knowledge of retail management systems is a plus.
