Introduction

The successful candidate will act as a guardian of fiscal integrity while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, supporting both day‑to‑day accounting activities and long‑term financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, review, and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal control frameworks, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management for all hotel properties.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and corrective action plans.
  • Prepare detailed management reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that aid senior leadership in strategic decision‑making.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes, collaborating closely with department heads to align financial targets with operational goals.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of accountants and junior staff, fostering professional development, effective communication, and a high‑performing work environment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, statutory reporting, and liaison with tax authorities.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Support cross‑functional projects, such as new hotel openings, system implementations, and ESG reporting, providing financial expertise and risk evaluation.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the hospitality or service‑industry sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and audit procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Indonesian; proficient English (spoken and written) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of supervising a team and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as operational needs dictate.
  • High level of professionalism, well‑groomed appearance, and a guest‑oriented mindset.
