Introduction
SMD Farmasi is seeking a dynamic and tech‑savvy individual to join our team as a Mobile Application Developer. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between cutting‑edge mobile technology and the fast‑moving FMCG/pharmaceutical market. The ideal candidate will not only develop and maintain high‑performance Android applications that support our sales force, but also act as a field ambassador who understands customer needs, drives product adoption, and meets aggressive sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Android mobile applications that streamline order entry, inventory tracking, and customer relationship management for SMD Farmasi’s sales network.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and back‑end engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Maintain application performance on devices with a minimum of 4 GB RAM, ensuring fast load times and reliable offline functionality.
- Conduct field visits to demonstrate the app to distributors and retail partners, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by leveraging the mobile platform to promote new pharmaceutical products and FMCG items.
- Provide on‑site technical support, troubleshoot issues in real time, and train end‑users on best practices.
- Prepare regular performance reports, analyze sales data, and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Maintain a valid motorcycle license (SIM C) and a personal motorbike for efficient territory coverage.
- Uphold SMD Farmasi’s standards of honesty, responsibility, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years old or younger (maximum 40 years as per general policy).
- At least 2 years of proven experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical sector, preferably with a focus on mobile sales tools.
- Strong analytical skills for sales data interpretation and ability to propose data‑driven solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with retailers, doctors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Android development, with a personal device meeting the minimum specification of 4 GB RAM.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle and active SIM C license for field work.
- Demonstrated integrity, a strong work ethic, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and adapt to occasional overtime during promotional periods.
