Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing accurate information about product features, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Conduct pre‑sale checks of merchandise to ensure items are clean, correctly labeled, and ready for hand‑over.
- Enter sales transactions into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system promptly and accurately, handling cash, cards, and digital payments.
- Maintain store visual standards by arranging displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring the sales floor remains tidy and inviting.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to set up promotional signage, seasonal displays, and in‑store events that attract foot traffic.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and assist with receiving and organizing new shipments.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, to meet the mall’s operating hours and peak shopping periods.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, common inquiries, and potential improvements to the shopping experience.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or equivalent (SMK) – must not be currently enrolled in higher education.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- Gender: Female (per local labor regulations for this position).
- At least 1 year of experience in retail sales or promotional work, preferably within a mall environment.
- Demonstrated honesty, flexibility, a warm personality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Physical fitness and good mental health to handle long standing periods and occasional lifting of merchandise.
- Availability to work shifts, including Sundays and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy – comfortable using POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to answer product‑related questions confidently.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
