Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door visits, community events, and referral networking to expand Amartha’s loan portfolio.
- Guide prospective clients through the application process, explaining loan terms, repayment schedules, and the benefits of joining the Amartha network.
- Perform on‑site economic assessments of households, collecting data on income, expenses, assets, and business activities to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed feasibility reports that align with Amartha’s internal risk‑assessment framework, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the credit underwriting team to submit applications, track approvals, and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
- Provide post‑disbursement support, including financial education, budgeting assistance, and regular monitoring of loan utilization.
- Execute collection activities by contacting delinquent borrowers, negotiating repayment plans, and reporting outstanding balances to the finance department.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the CRM system daily, and submit weekly performance reports to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and NGOs to promote financial inclusion and build trust within the community.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory using personal transportation, adhering to safety protocols and punctuality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (candidates up to 33 years are also considered).
- All genders are welcome; women are highly preferred.
- Possession of a reliable personal vehicle is mandatory for daily fieldwork.
- Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic numeracy and analytical ability to assess financial data and perform feasibility studies.
- Self‑motivation and resilience to work independently in diverse, often rural, environments.
- Prior experience in sales, field outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to work on‑site every day, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
