Introduction

We are seeking an energetic Account Officer to join our field team in Probolinggo. This position is ideal for recent graduates or young professionals who are eager to develop a career in micro‑finance, consumer lending, or community banking. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between our organization and prospective borrowers, helping to grow our loan portfolio while maintaining strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

The role requires a balance of analytical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. You will be responsible for identifying new client opportunities, evaluating creditworthiness, and ensuring timely repayment of loan installments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and prospecting activities to generate a pipeline of new group‑loan customers in accordance with the regional business plan.
  • Visit potential borrowers at their homes or businesses to explain product features, loan terms, and repayment schedules.
  • Perform detailed credit assessments, including character analysis, financial capacity evaluation, and collateral verification.
  • Prepare and submit loan applications, ensuring all documentation complies with internal risk‑management guidelines.
  • Monitor monthly instalment payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and negotiate repayment arrangements when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system, updating client information, transaction histories, and activity logs.
  • Collaborate with the branch manager and underwriting team to refine sales strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, regulatory updates, and customer‑service excellence.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help shape new product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Uphold the organization’s ethical standards by practicing honesty, discipline, and meticulous attention to detail in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma or degree is a plus.
  • Age 30 years or younger.
  • Open to all genders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a high level of accuracy in data handling.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior experience required, though any customer‑service or sales exposure is advantageous.
  • Valid SIM C driver’s license and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Strong adaptability, quick learning ability, and willingness to work independently in diverse environments.
  • Basic knowledge of financial products, credit assessment, or a keen interest to develop such expertise.
  • Ability to meet weekly and monthly sales targets while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
