We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Pemeliharaan (Maintenance Officer) to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and civil infrastructure operate smoothly, allowing our chefs and service staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests every day.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on all restaurant equipment, including noodle cookers, fryers, stoves, cup sealers, refrigeration units, and related mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that affect daily restaurant operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Replace and repair faulty components on kitchen machinery to keep production lines running efficiently.
  • Document daily work activities in detailed reports, noting problems encountered, corrective actions taken, and parts used.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards and local regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and kitchen staff to prioritize maintenance tasks and schedule work around peak service periods.
  • Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools, ordering supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
  • Participate in periodic safety drills and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment failures.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably SMK/STM with a focus on Civil Engineering, Electrical, or Air‑Conditioning (Tata Udara).
  • At least 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a food‑service or similar industrial environment.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fundamental skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to read basic schematics.
  • Strong personal attributes: honesty, discipline, responsibility, loyalty, creativity, hard‑working attitude, active participation, innovation, and high dedication.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with supervisors and other staff members.
  • Male candidates only, aged 30 years or younger.
  • Willingness to be stationed at the Resto Mie Gacoan location in Mayjend, Surabaya.
