Introduction
Kopitagram Tenggilis, a vibrant coffee boutique located in the heart of Surabaya, is seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our team as Baristas. This frontline position plays a crucial role in delivering a memorable coffee experience, from expertly crafting beverages to providing warm, personalized service. Ideal candidates are aged 19‑25, present a polished appearance, and are eager to work in a dynamic, shift‑based environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and espresso‑based drinks in accordance with Kopitagram’s quality standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, grinders, espresso machines, and related tools.
- Engage with customers, take orders accurately, and recommend menu items based on individual preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work station, including regular sanitization of equipment and surfaces.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and consumables; report shortages to the shift supervisor.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and ensure end‑of‑shift reconciliation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and allergen awareness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours and special promotions.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with new brewing techniques and seasonal menu updates.
- Provide feedback to management on customer trends, product performance, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 19 and 25 years; all genders are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in a coffee‑shop or hospitality setting (preferred but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee‑preparation equipment.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Residence within reasonable commuting distance to Kopitagram Tenggilis, Surabaya.
- Professional appearance: clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
- Basic knowledge of coffee bean varieties, roasting levels, and brewing methods is an advantage.
