Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Koleksi Lapangan (Field Collector) to join our team in the Jambi area. This role is critical to our financial services operations, focusing on on‑site debt recovery and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will work directly with delinquent accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding obligations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned debtors and deliver official Surat Peringatan (SP) when accounts are overdue by more than 20 days.
  • Validate the debtor’s current situation, conduct a thorough analysis of the outstanding balance, and initiate collection actions.
  • Negotiate realistic and mutually agreeable repayment options, tailoring payment plans to each customer’s financial capacity.
  • Monitor and track promised payment dates, following up consistently to ensure compliance with the agreed schedule.
  • Locate and engage customers who are unavailable at their listed residence or workplace, employing verification techniques and local resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records, including phone numbers, addresses, and any changes observed during field visits.
  • Prepare detailed reports on each visit, documenting outcomes, challenges, and next steps, and discuss these findings with supervisors.
  • Record all collection activities in the company’s CRM system, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—such as legal, risk, and customer service—to resolve complex cases and improve overall recovery rates.
  • Adhere to the standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00, while remaining flexible for urgent field assignments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only; age not exceeding 50 years.
  • No prior experience required, though a background in debt collection or customer service is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to negotiate calmly under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedural guidelines and maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer applications for data entry.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for traveling within the Jambi region.
  • Integrity, resilience, and a results‑oriented mindset.
