Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Motor Courier to join our logistics team in the bustling region of Kabupaten Bekasi. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy navigating city streets, delivering parcels promptly, and providing excellent customer service. As a key member of our delivery network, you will play a vital role in ensuring that goods reach customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
The role is full‑time, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, and offers a supportive environment where punctuality, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Pick up packages from the warehouse or designated collection points and transport them to the recipient’s address using a motorbike.
- Verify that each parcel is correctly labeled, securely packaged, and in perfect condition before departure.
- Utilize GPS navigation tools (e.g., Google Maps) to plan the most efficient routes, avoiding traffic congestion and minimizing delivery time.
- Deliver items to the exact location specified by the order, obtaining the recipient’s signature or electronic confirmation as required.
- Conduct a brief visual inspection upon delivery to confirm that the package remains undamaged and presentable.
- Report any delivery obstacles—such as road closures, weather disruptions, or recipient unavailability—to the logistics supervisor promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs within the company’s mobile application, recording timestamps, mileage, and any anomalies.
- Keep the motorbike clean, fueled, and in good mechanical condition, performing routine checks before each shift.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, answering basic inquiries about delivery status when appropriate.
Requirements
- Male candidates, aged 45 years or younger.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or an equivalent level.
- Valid Indonesian SIM C (motorcycle driving license) and an active vehicle registration (STNK).
- Ownership of an Android smartphone that meets the minimum operating system requirements for our delivery app.
- Clean appearance: no visible tattoos or piercings that may conflict with the company’s dress code.
- Basic proficiency with digital navigation tools and the ability to quickly learn new mobile applications.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of parcels throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills to interact respectfully with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently while following established delivery protocols.
