Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Motorcycle Delivery Courier to join our fast‑growing logistics team in Medan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and secure delivery of parcels, documents, and small shipments across the city. Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and goods using a personal motorcycle while adhering to company routes and schedules.
- Verify the accuracy of each shipment, confirming recipient details and obtaining signatures or electronic confirmations upon delivery.
- Maintain a clean and well‑maintained motorcycle, performing routine checks on fuel, tires, brakes, and lights before each shift.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS, local knowledge, and traffic‑aware strategies to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
- Communicate promptly with dispatchers regarding any delivery issues, traffic delays, or vehicle problems.
- Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely and report them accurately at the end of the shift.
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers, answering basic inquiries and representing the company’s brand positively.
- Document any incidents, damages, or customer complaints in the company’s tracking system.
- Assist with occasional on‑site pickups for bulk orders or special events as directed by management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates aged 35 years or younger.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) with no restrictions.
- Own a reliable motorcycle that meets company safety standards.
- Proven ability to navigate and memorize the streets of Medan, including major commercial districts and residential areas.
- Strong work ethic: punctual, honest, and responsible.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork spirit.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian; ability to read addresses and fill out delivery forms accurately.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of parcels throughout the shift.
