Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Barista Penyaji Minuman Kopi Profesional to join our dynamic team at a leading specialty coffee house. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and customer seating, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other coffee‑making equipment, performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Manage inventory levels, receive deliveries, and conduct daily stock checks to ensure sufficient supplies of beans, milk, syrups, and disposables.
  • Handle cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems accurately, processing orders, payments, and refunds while maintaining balanced cash drawers.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service, offering product recommendations and answering customer inquiries about coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth workflow during peak periods, supporting colleagues with tasks such as order preparation, cleaning, and restocking.
  • Train new hires on barista techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Work effectively under pressure, meeting service speed targets without compromising product quality.
  • Participate in periodic staff meetings and contribute ideas for menu innovation, promotional events, and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: Open to candidates up to 35 years old (maximum 0 years of experience required for entry‑level, but at least 1 year of relevant barista experience is preferred).
  • Gender: All genders are welcome.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience working as a barista or in a similar food‑service role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Honest, responsible, and reliable with a solid work ethic.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Demonstrated capacity to remain calm and productive under high‑volume, time‑sensitive conditions.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional weekend or holiday shifts as needed.
  • Passion for coffee, willingness to stay updated on industry trends, and a commitment to delivering exceptional beverage quality.
