Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cashier – Penjualan Ritel to join our dynamic retail team. This role is ideal for recent graduates, university students, or individuals looking for a part‑time position who can balance work with their studies or other commitments. The successful candidate will be the face of our store, providing friendly, efficient service to customers while handling cash and electronic transactions with accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, and exchanges quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments, ensuring proper documentation and balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and guide them to appropriate merchandise, fostering a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular sanitation of equipment and work surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register, alerting floor staff to low‑stock items and assisting with restocking as needed.
- Promote ongoing sales promotions, loyalty programs, and upsell complementary products to increase average transaction value.
- Resolve minor customer complaints on the spot, escalating more complex issues to the floor manager when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling, data privacy, and workplace safety.
- Work collaboratively with teammates during peak hours, ensuring smooth traffic flow and minimal wait times.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on new products, POS upgrades, and service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 30 years old.
