To support our ambitious menu development and uphold the highest standards of food quality, we are seeking a dedicated Cook Profesional with proven experience in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety practices, including proper storage, temperature control, and regular cleaning of workstations.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, ingredient selection, and cost‑effective sourcing of supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help with the receipt and inspection of deliveries.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team culture.
- Respond quickly to special dietary requests and adapt recipes to accommodate allergens or guest preferences.
- Participate in regular kitchen audits, contribute ideas for process improvements, and uphold the highest standards of operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience as a cook in a hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant.
- Completed secondary education (SMA/SMK or equivalent) with a focus on culinary arts or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow recipes precisely, and a passion for producing high‑quality meals.
- Physical stamina to work long shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and handle a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) and preferably currently residing in Kalimantan.
- Immediate availability to join the team.
