The role is pivotal in ensuring that every guest experiences the seamless, high‑quality environment that Accor is renowned for worldwide.

As a senior engineer, you will act as the technical backbone of the hotel, overseeing maintenance activities, responding to guest requests, and collaborating closely with housekeeping, front‑desk, and food‑and‑beverage teams. Your expertise will help maintain operational efficiency, safety compliance, and the brand‑standard aesthetics that differentiate Accor properties in the competitive hospitality market.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain rigorous documentation of work orders, safety inspections, and compliance reports using Accor’s digital asset‑management platform.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional departments—housekeeping, front office, food & beverage—to synchronize maintenance activities with guest flow and operational peaks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and energy‑efficiency initiatives, and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure all work complies with local health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as Accor’s internal ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) policies.
  • Respond to after‑hours emergencies, either on‑site or by coordinating third‑party contractors, while maintaining clear communication with the night‑shift manager.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, safety drills, and brand‑wide workshops to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 1–3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a hotel or similar hospitality environment; experience with Accor or other international brands is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and external vendors.
  • Well‑groomed, guest‑oriented appearance and a proactive, detail‑focused work ethic.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) is advantageous; additional language skills are a bonus.
  • Leadership potential – capable of supervising junior staff and driving team performance.
  • Technical competencies: electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, preventive maintenance software, and basic knowledge of sustainability practices.

Benefits

  • Accor Employee Benefit Card offering discounted rates at more than 4,800 Accor hotels worldwide.
  • Comprehensive learning and development programs, including access to the Accor Academy for continuous skill enhancement.
  • Clear career progression pathways with opportunities to transfer across properties and countries.
  • Participation in Accor’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG initiatives, allowing you to make a positive impact on the community and environment.
  • Competitive salary package, health insurance, and paid leave in accordance with local labor laws.
  • Team‑building events, recognition awards, and a supportive multicultural work environment.
