Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Frontliner Gadget Sales Representative for our Batam location. This role is the face of our brand on the shop floor, responsible for driving sales of mobile and electronic accessories while delivering an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with a solid background in retail, telecommunications, or FMCG, and will thrive in a fast‑paced environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and results.
Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets by actively engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate gadget accessories.
- Maintain a well‑organized store layout, ensuring product displays are attractive, fully stocked, and comply with visual merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment with the back‑office team, and conduct regular stock checks to prevent out‑of‑stock situations.
- Gather and report competitor activity, pricing strategies, and emerging market trends to help shape promotional campaigns.
- Participate in scheduled training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and digital‑sales certification programs to continuously improve selling techniques.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and follow up to ensure long‑term satisfaction and repeat business.
- Document daily sales activities, customer feedback, and promotional effectiveness using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing and visual teams to set up seasonal displays, promotional signage, and in‑store events that drive foot traffic.
- Uphold company policies regarding hygiene, personal presentation, and safety, presenting a professional and approachable image at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in retail, telecommunications, or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sales.
- Strong communication and persuasive skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic knowledge of sales principles, product specifications, and digital tools (e.g., POS systems, inventory software).
- Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Professional appearance, tidy grooming, and a proportionate physique that reflects the company’s brand standards.
- Flexibility to work a full schedule: Monday through Sunday, 08:00 – 17:00.
