Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from the central warehouse or designated drop‑off points and deliver them to the correct customer address within the assigned zone.
- Verify that each package is sealed, labeled correctly, and free from damage before departure.
- Utilize Google Maps or other navigation apps on an Android smartphone to plan the most efficient routes, taking traffic conditions into account.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs in the company’s mobile application, confirming receipt of each order with a digital signature or photo proof.
- Communicate promptly with the dispatch team if any obstacles (e.g., road closures, vehicle issues, or customer unavailability) arise that could delay the delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients politely, answering basic inquiries, and handling cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely when required.
- Inspect the motorcycle daily for safety compliance, ensure the fuel tank is topped up, and report any mechanical problems to the maintenance department.
- Adhere strictly to company policies regarding dress code (no tattoos or piercings) and professional appearance.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on safe riding practices, handling fragile items, and using the delivery management system.
- Submit end‑of‑day reports summarizing completed deliveries, mileage, and any incidents encountered.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, age 45 years or younger.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent (Junior High School level).
- Valid Indonesian motorcycle driver’s license (SIM C) and active vehicle registration (STNK).
- Own an Android smartphone that meets the minimum operating system requirements for the company’s delivery app.
- Excellent knowledge of Jakarta’s road network, especially the East Jakarta districts.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and the dispatch team.
- High level of honesty and integrity, especially when handling COD payments or valuable parcels.
- Physical fitness to lift and carry packages up to 20 kg and to ride a motorcycle for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety: no tattoos or body piercings, and willingness to follow all traffic and company safety guidelines.
