Sumber Tani Langkat (9Bako) is one of the largest staple‑goods distributors in North Sumatra, supplying rice and other essential items to key markets such as Medan, Deli Serdang, Binjai, Langkat, Kuala Simpang, and Pematang Siantar. To support this expansion, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our logistics team as Assistant Delivery Helpers. This entry‑level role offers a solid foundation in warehouse operations, hands‑on loading and unloading, and customer‑focused delivery execution.
Responsibilities
- Perform loading and unloading of pallets, sacks, and boxes while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling techniques.
- Verify each delivery against the delivery order, confirming quantity, item type, and condition before departure.
- Conduct routine stock checks at the depot and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and depot areas when no shipments are scheduled, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assist drivers with route planning and documentation, ensuring timely dispatch to destinations across Medan, Deli Serdang, Langkat, and Aceh.
- Provide basic support for inventory reconciliation, using handheld devices or paper logs as required.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on safe material handling, equipment usage, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only; must possess a valid motorcycle license (Viar or similar) and be comfortable riding for short intra‑city trips.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in loading/unloading or a related warehouse role.
- Strong sense of discipline, honesty, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Residency in North Sumatra and willingness to attend the recruitment process in Medan.
- Flexibility to be assigned to any of the company’s branches (Medan, Deli Serdang, Langkat, Aceh) based on operational needs.
- Soft skills: adaptability to a dynamic work environment, compliance with cleanliness standards, basic problem‑solving ability, and good communication with drivers and store personnel.
