Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Therapist Spa & Wellness Professional to join our dynamic team at Serenity Oasis Spa. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality therapeutic services while upholding our commitment to excellence, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of spa treatments—including Swedish massage, deep‑tissue therapy, aromatherapy, body wraps, and facial rituals—tailored to each client’s needs.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health history, preferences, and any contraindications before initiating treatment.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and linens in accordance with health‑code regulations.
- Manage inventory of oils, lotions, linens, and other consumables, placing orders and reporting shortages to the Operations Manager.
- Collaborate with front‑desk staff to schedule appointments, handle walk‑ins, and ensure seamless client flow during peak hours.
- Provide guidance on post‑treatment care, product recommendations, and home‑care routines to maximize therapeutic benefits.
- Assist other departments—such as the fitness center, beauty salon, or retail shop—when cross‑training skills are applicable.
- Document all treatments accurately in the digital client management system, noting observations, feedback, and any follow‑up actions.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and continuing‑education workshops to stay current with industry trends.
- Adhere to the established shift schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and demonstrate flexibility for occasional overtime or special events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; certification in massage therapy or related field is a strong plus.
- At least 1‑5 years of professional experience in a spa, wellness center, or therapeutic setting.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to support other departments when needed.
- Strong communication skills; able to listen attentively, explain procedures clearly, and address client concerns promptly.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, shift patterns, and occasional weekend assignments.
- Professional demeanor—friendly, polite, and tidy—with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Physical stamina to perform massages and other treatments for extended periods.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, including attendance at workshops, certifications, and industry seminars.
