Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Barista to join our fast‑growing coffee shop chain. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee culture, possess a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a bustling, team‑oriented environment. As the front‑line ambassador of our brand, you will play a critical role in delivering a memorable café experience that keeps guests coming back for more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based beverages, drip coffee, teas, and specialty drinks in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work station, including regular cleaning of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Engage with customers, take orders accurately, provide product recommendations, and answer questions about menu items and coffee origins.
- Handle cash transactions, operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, syrups, milk, and consumables; alert management when re‑ordering is required.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Continuously develop coffee knowledge through training sessions, tasting events, and staying up‑to‑date with industry trends.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 28 years; all genders are welcome.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Not currently enrolled in school or bound by another employment contract.
- Prior experience in food & beverage service is a plus, especially in a barista or café setting.
- Basic understanding of coffee brewing methods and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
