Introduction
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our retail team as Store Crew Members – Customer Service & Stock Management. Our stores operate seven days a week, serving a diverse clientele, and we depend on a dedicated crew to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service, assisting shoppers with product inquiries, recommendations, and checkout procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, ensuring shelves are well‑stocked, labeled, and merchandised according to visual guidelines.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming deliveries, verifying quantities against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies.
- Execute regular inventory counts, reconcile stock levels, and update the store management system to prevent shrinkage.
- Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and balance the register at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with team members to execute promotional setups, seasonal displays, and special events.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑service regulations, especially when handling ready‑to‑eat items or beverages.
- Respond to customer complaints or issues with empathy, seeking timely resolutions or escalating to management when necessary.
- Participate in shift handovers, communicating key information such as stock shortages, equipment issues, or upcoming tasks.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve store processes, suggesting ideas that enhance efficiency or customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector or a similar retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail, quick learning ability, and the capacity to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends (Monday‑Saturday).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and move throughout the store floor.
- Basic proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
