This role is ideal for a hands‑on individual who thrives in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, possesses solid cooking fundamentals, and can reliably manage daily prep tasks while maintaining strict hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Manage the daily mise‑en‑place, ensuring all ingredients are washed, cut, and stored properly before service.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spices, sauces, and pantry items, conducting regular stock checks and reporting low levels to the kitchen manager.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, performing regular cleaning of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with local health regulations.
- Coordinate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, especially between 07:30 and 22:00.
- Assist in menu development by suggesting new flavor profiles and efficient preparation methods.
- Train junior kitchen assistants on proper cutting techniques, seasoning applications, and safe equipment handling.
- Document daily production logs, noting any deviations, waste, or equipment issues for continuous improvement.
- Utilize personal transportation to reliably arrive for scheduled shifts and, when needed, support off‑site catering events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Male candidate, maximum age of 25 years.
- At least 1 year of professional kitchen or restaurant experience.
- Proficient cooking skills with a solid understanding of Indonesian spice blends and seasoning techniques.
- Strong knowledge of various kitchen tools, knives, and cooking equipment.
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Own reliable motor vehicle for commuting and occasional off‑site duties.
- Residence in Bogor Utara or surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
