Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, guiding them through Amartha’s loan program and encouraging participation in our micro‑credit initiatives.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, offering tailored financial counseling and ongoing support to existing members.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and execute the collection process, maintaining accurate records of repayments and following up with borrowers to minimize delinquency.
- Document field activities in the company’s CRM system, providing timely reports on outreach metrics, loan pipeline status, and community feedback.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to refine outreach strategies, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Amartha at local community events, building brand awareness and fostering strong relationships with local leaders and partner organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- Gender: Open to all candidates; women are highly preferred.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle for daily field visits.
- Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly in diverse community settings.
- Resilience and adaptability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to manage a demanding schedule.
- Basic digital literacy for data entry and use of mobile applications; prior experience in micro‑finance or field sales is a plus but not mandatory.
