Introduction

Home Credit, a leading consumer finance institution in Indonesia, is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team as Kolektor Lapangan – Penagihan dan Pengelolaan Piutang. This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow, fostering positive relationships with borrowers, and ensuring that repayment processes are smooth and compliant with company policies. As a Field Agent, you will operate primarily in Pekanbaru and its surrounding areas, representing Home Credit’s commitment to excellent customer service and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled visits to Home Credit customers according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), ensuring punctuality and professionalism on every trip.
  • Communicate clearly with borrowers about overdue payments, explaining the consequences of default and the benefits of timely repayment.
  • Assist customers in completing payment transactions, guiding them through Home Credit’s payment channels, whether cash, mobile banking, or in‑store options.
  • Document each customer interaction in the company’s mobile system, updating payment status, notes on customer behavior, and any follow‑up actions required.
  • Identify and report potential fraud or high‑risk accounts to the credit risk team for further analysis.
  • Provide feedback to the regional manager on common payment challenges faced by borrowers, helping to shape future collection strategies.
  • Maintain the condition of the assigned motorcycle, ensuring it is safe, insured, and ready for daily use.
  • Collaborate with the broader collections team, sharing best practices and supporting new agents during their onboarding period.
  • Adhere to all safety and health guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment when necessary.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on regulatory changes, product enhancements, and soft‑skill development.

Requirements

  • Education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient.
  • Age: No maximum age limit; we value experience and dedication over age.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; however, candidates with prior field collection or collector experience will have an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate a motorcycle, familiarity with basic automotive maintenance, and competence with communication tools (smartphone, GPS, and Home Credit’s mobile app).
  • Licensing: Valid and active SIM C (motorcycle driving license) is mandatory.
  • Geographic Knowledge: In‑depth familiarity with Pekanbaru and its surrounding neighborhoods to maximize route efficiency.
  • Documentation (for experienced candidates): Provide a work reference letter, employment certificate (paklaring), or any official document that confirms prior collection experience.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, high level of integrity, resilience under pressure, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
