Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of dishes and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using handheld POS systems, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Deliver meals and beverages promptly, adhering to proper service etiquette and maintaining a polished appearance.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, promptly addressing any additional needs, refilling drinks, and clearing used dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring all service stations are stocked.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate timing of courses and resolve any service issues.
- Handle cash and electronic payments securely, issue receipts, and reconcile end‑of‑shift reports.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Participate in regular training sessions, menu tastings, and team briefings to stay informed about new offerings and service enhancements.
- Assist with occasional opening and closing duties, such as setting up the dining floor, restocking supplies, and performing deep cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience in restaurant, café, or hotel service is preferred, though fresh graduates with a strong customer‑service mindset are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to present food and beverages attractively and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting, manage multiple tables, and remain composed under pressure.
- Willingness to be assigned to locations within the Jawa Timur (East Java) region.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays weighing up to 15 kg.
