We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Helper Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Support the assembly and plating of dishes during service, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant’s standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of basic supplies, report shortages, and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, taking direction from supervisors and providing feedback when necessary.
  • Participate in daily cleaning cycles, including deep cleaning of countertops, utensils, and refrigeration units.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries, inspecting quality, and organizing storage areas according to temperature requirements.
  • Support special events and banquet preparations by scaling recipes and coordinating timing with the broader kitchen staff.
  • Continuously improve personal culinary skills through on‑the‑job training and mentorship programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Gender: Female (must wear hijab as per company policy).
  • Age: Up to 30 years old.
  • Prior experience in a kitchen setting is preferred but not mandatory; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Strong attention to detail and quick, accurate execution of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff.
  • High level of honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
