Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Officer – Procurement & Supplier Management to join our dynamic supply chain team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization maintains a reliable flow of high‑quality goods and services while optimizing cost efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and support the overall strategic objectives of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements to secure the best possible value for the organization.
  • Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, update vendor databases, and generate regular reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to forecast demand and avoid stock‑outs or excess inventory.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, address any issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Participate in cross‑functional meetings, providing insights on cost‑saving opportunities and market trends.
  • Support ad‑hoc projects such as cost‑benefit analyses, supplier audits, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime, to meet urgent business needs and maintain uninterrupted supply.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma / SMK (D3 or S1 preferred for specialized positions).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics management.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Core competencies: Honesty, discipline, strong sense of responsibility, and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to work shift schedules, overtime, and handle pressure in fast‑paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional appearance.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, procurement software) and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of logistics management and supply chain fundamentals is a plus.
