We are seeking a highly qualified Aktuaris Asuransi Jiwa dan Kesehatan to join our dynamic actuarial team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial stability and product innovation of our life and health insurance portfolio. Responsibilities
- Risk & Data Analysis: Apply advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling to estimate the probability of events such as accidents, mortality, and natural disasters, and quantify their financial impact.
- Product Design & Pricing: Develop new life and health insurance or pension products, set premium rates that balance profitability with market competitiveness, and perform profitability testing.
- Liability Reserve Management: Calculate technical reserves and determine the appropriate level of funding required to meet future claim obligations.
- Financial Modeling & Projections: Conduct long‑term financial simulations, stress testing, and solvency assessments to ensure the company’s ongoing financial health.
- Consultation & Reporting: Prepare detailed actuarial reports, present findings to senior management and clients, and translate technical results into actionable business recommendations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all actuarial work complies with local insurance regulations, ASAI/FSAI standards, and internal governance policies.
- Mentoring & Collaboration: Support junior analysts, share best practices, and collaborate closely with underwriting, finance, and product development teams.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the insurance industry, preferably in life or health lines.
- Professional actuarial certification such as ASAI or FSAI.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities to explain complex actuarial concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
