Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and highly communicative Canvasser Sales – Field Promotion Specialist to join our dynamic sales team in the Bukittinggi area. In this role, you will be the front‑line ambassador for leading telecom brands such as XL, Axis, and Smartfren, responsible for driving the distribution of prepaid cards and vouchers directly to partners, retail outlets (RO), and authorized counters. The position offers a blend of field work, relationship building, and results‑oriented selling, making it ideal for self‑motivated individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled visits to designated partners, retail outlets, and RO locations to promote and sell telecom prepaid products.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by actively prospecting new customers and upselling to existing partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with store owners, managers, and end‑users to ensure repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences, and relay this information to the regional sales manager.
  • Prepare accurate daily and weekly sales reports, including transaction details, inventory levels, and feedback from field observations.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of stock to outlets and resolve any supply‑chain issues that may arise.
  • Participate in promotional events, product launches, and training sessions to stay updated on the latest service offerings and sales techniques.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding health, safety, and ethical conduct while representing the brand in the community.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 35 years old; all genders are welcome.
  • Valid driver’s license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable personal vehicle for daily field travel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Honesty, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving in the field.
  • Prior experience in sales, especially in telecommunications or consumer goods, is a distinct advantage but not mandatory.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile devices and familiarity with sales reporting tools or apps.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and adapt to occasional overtime during peak promotional periods.
