Introduction

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Staf Operasional Dapur Restoran to join our dynamic kitchen team in Bogor. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who are eager to start a career in the culinary industry, possess a strong work ethic, and are ready to learn the fundamentals of hot‑kitchen operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the head chef and kitchen supervisors to ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards of taste, safety, and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items, following standardized recipes and portion controls.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels of fresh produce, meats, and dry goods, and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Operate and safely handle kitchen appliances such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops.
  • Support the mise en place process by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients ahead of service.
  • Ensure proper food storage practices, including labeling, dating, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
  • Assist in the execution of daily opening and closing checklists, including equipment checks and waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to fulfill special orders and accommodate dietary restrictions.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and on‑the‑job coaching to improve culinary skills and kitchen efficiency.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders; no age limit.
  • Zero or more years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Strong physical stamina – able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg.
  • Basic knowledge of hot‑kitchen cooking techniques and willingness to learn advanced skills.
  • Excellent personal hygiene and a tidy appearance while on duty.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Good communication skills; friendly and respectful interaction with teammates and customers.
  • Residency in Bogor or willingness to relocate to the city.
  • Availability to start immediately and complete a probationary period.
