Introduction

We are a fast‑growing restaurant located in the heart of the city, dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are seeking enthusiastic and professional wait staff to join our full‑time team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every customer enjoys attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly attitude.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, answer menu‑related questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Serve dishes and drinks promptly, checking back regularly to confirm satisfaction and address any additional needs.
  • Handle payment transactions, process credit card authorizations, and issue receipts while maintaining strict cash control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table setting, polishing glassware, and resetting tables after guests depart.
  • Monitor inventory of tableware, napkins, and condiments, reporting shortages to the manager.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring all food handling procedures comply with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members during peak hours and support shift changes smoothly.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service protocols, and hospitality best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the food & beverage (F&B) industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Age: 18‑26 years old.
  • Open to all genders; we value diversity and inclusivity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: polite, honest, detail‑oriented, and accountable.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and to stand for extended periods.
  • Professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Proficiency in basic food‑service skills, such as menu knowledge, order taking, and table maintenance.
  • Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are a plus.
