Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and community‑focused Account Officer to join our micro‑finance team covering the Kraksaan and Paiton regions. The successful candidate will act as the frontline representative for our Group Lending and Community Financing products, building strong relationships with village leaders, local cooperatives, and prospective borrowers. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about rural development, enjoy direct client interaction, and possess a keen eye for detail in financial monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site surveys to identify potential borrower groups and assess the viability of proposed business activities.
- Organize and lead community outreach sessions, presenting loan products to village heads, RW/RT committees, and individual entrepreneurs.
- Form and facilitate women‑focused borrower groups consisting of 7‑15 members, ensuring each group meets our credit eligibility criteria.
- Provide continuous coaching and mentorship to group members, helping them develop sound business practices and improve financial literacy.
- Monitor the daily operations of borrower businesses, tracking sales, cash flow, and repayment schedules.
- Maintain accurate field reports, including photographic documentation, progress updates, and risk assessments.
- Collect loan installments on a weekly or monthly basis, handling cash or digital payments in accordance with company policies.
- Resolve disputes or repayment challenges through effective communication and negotiation, safeguarding both the borrower’s interests and the institution’s asset quality.
- Coordinate with internal credit analysts, loan officers, and the operations team to ensure seamless loan processing and disbursement.
- Participate in regular training sessions and performance reviews to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA) / SMK or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any age; no upper age limit.
- Both male and female applicants are welcome.
- Zero to minimal prior experience; fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and the local dialects of Kraksaan and Paiton.
- Ability to build trustful relationships with community members and local authorities.
- Possession of a valid SIM C (motorcycle license) and personal motorbike for field travel.
- Strong analytical mindset for assessing borrower viability and monitoring business performance.
- Self‑motivated, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of micro‑finance principles and group lending structures is a plus.
