We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Professional Barista to join our growing café team. Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and quality.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other equipment, performing routine cleaning and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering product recommendations, and handling special requests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; conduct daily stock checks and communicate replenishment needs to the store manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Process cash and electronic payments efficiently, ensuring accurate transaction handling and balanced end‑of‑day reports.
- Assist in training new team members on barista techniques, customer service standards, and café policies.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal menu items, promotional events, and customer loyalty programs to drive sales and enhance the café’s brand.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders; the position is inclusive and values diversity.
- Prior experience as a barista or in a similar food‑service role is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, courteous, and able to adapt quickly to a fast‑moving environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and discipline in previous employment or academic settings.
- Possession of a personal vehicle for reliable commuting to and from the café location.
- Basic knowledge of coffee bean varieties, brewing methods, and latte art is an advantage.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend events.
