Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Beauty Advisor to join our vibrant retail team in Palu. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work with leading beauty brands, develop deep product expertise, and deliver personalized skincare and makeup solutions to a diverse clientele. As the face of our store, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable shopping experiences, driving sales, and upholding the high standards of service that define our brand.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet each customer with a warm, welcoming attitude; actively listen to their beauty concerns and provide tailored advice on skincare, makeup, and body care products.
- Product Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations to assess skin type, tone, and preferences; recommend appropriate product regimens and demonstrate correct application techniques.
- Product Knowledge Delivery: Clearly explain product benefits, key ingredients, and usage instructions; stay current through regular brand trainings and self‑study.
- Sales Achievement: Meet or exceed individual sales targets; employ upselling and cross‑selling strategies, suggest promotional bundles, and actively promote limited‑time offers.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and organized product display; restock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure promotional signage is up‑to‑date.
- Team Collaboration: Share insights from customer interactions with colleagues and management; contribute to a supportive team environment that encourages continuous improvement.
- Administrative Duties: Process transactions accurately, manage customer records in the POS system, and handle returns or exchanges in line with store policy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, as per store policy.
- At least 1 year of experience in beauty retail, cosmetics sales, or a related customer‑service role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated passion for beauty trends, skincare science, and makeup artistry.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point‑of‑sale systems.
- Flexibility to work a seven‑day schedule, Monday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Desirable skill: familiarity with 3ds Max or other visual design tools (useful for creating in‑store displays).
