Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Partner to join our field sales and credit facilitation team in Ambarawa, Kab. Semarang. This role is pivotal in expanding Amartha’s reach among rural micro‑entrepreneurs and households, fostering financial inclusion, and ensuring the smooth repayment of micro‑loans. The successful candidate will work closely with community members, conduct credit assessments, and act as a trusted liaison between borrowers and our financing committee.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referral programs to grow Amartha’s portfolio of micro‑enterprise clients.
  • Provide ongoing economic counseling and business development support to existing members, helping them improve cash flow, manage expenses, and scale their operations.
  • Perform thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting borrower strengths, repayment capacity, and any mitigating risks.
  • Facilitate weekly member meetings, collect repayment data, and coordinate service transactions to maintain strong community engagement.
  • Monitor repayment schedules, follow up on overdue installments, and collaborate with the collections team to resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system, updating client profiles, loan statuses, and field observations on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with the training department to deliver financial literacy workshops and product awareness sessions for borrowers.
  • Report market insights and emerging trends in the rural micro‑finance sector to senior management, contributing to strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Female candidates only, aged 22‑28 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience in field sales, credit assessment, or community outreach, preferably in micro‑finance or banking.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial statements, cash‑flow projections, and business viability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; comfortable engaging with diverse rural populations.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing work environments and the capacity to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using mobile data collection tools, basic spreadsheet functions, and familiarity with Amartha’s internal CRM platform.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Ambarawa region daily.
