Introduction
The Collector – Field Asset Management position is a critical front‑line role based in Rantau Prapat, Labuhan Batu. As a member of our asset recovery team, you will be responsible for engaging directly with motor‑vehicle customers who have fallen behind on their installment payments. This role blends field work, negotiation, and customer service, offering a dynamic work environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to safeguard the company’s assets while maintaining respectful relationships with borrowers. Candidates who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong sense of responsibility, and possess a valid motorcycle license (SIM C/A) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled visits to customers with past‑due motor‑vehicle loans ranging from 1 to 60 days.
- Perform on‑site installment collection, clearly communicating payment options and deadlines.
- Deliver official warning letters and notices to borrowers, ensuring proper documentation of each interaction.
- Secure and, when necessary, coordinate the retrieval of the financed vehicle in accordance with company policy and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily reports of visits, payments received, and any issues encountered, using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to update risk assessments and propose preventive measures for future delinquencies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or higher (D4 preferred).
- Valid motorcycle license (SIM C/A) and personal two‑wheel vehicle for field mobility.
- Ability to drive a car is highly desirable, as some assignments may require vehicle use.
- Residency within the Labuhan Batu – Rantau Prapat area to ensure timely coverage of the assigned territory.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills, with a proven ability to handle difficult conversations.
- Professional demeanor, high ethical standards, and a genuine interest in field‑based work.
