Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and service‑oriented Concierge and Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of our brand. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant hotel environment, handling guest inquiries, facilitating seamless check‑in/check‑out processes, and delivering personalized concierge services that enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, manage the front desk operations, and perform accurate check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Handle reservation inquiries, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system (PMS).
- Provide comprehensive concierge services, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, local tour recommendations, and ticket bookings.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel policies, local attractions, and cultural events to offer insightful recommendations.
- Process guest payments, issue invoices, and ensure accurate billing according to hotel standards.
- Monitor lobby and reception areas for cleanliness and safety, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Prepare daily reports on occupancy, room status, and guest feedback for management review.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote hotel services, packages, and loyalty programs.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the demands of a 24‑hour operation.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) preferred; at least SMA/SMK diploma acceptable.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a similar front desk or concierge role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operational standards and the ability to apply departmental SOPs.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and a genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Resilience under pressure and adaptability in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- High integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Key skill: Proficiency in food and beverage service etiquette, enhancing guest interactions at all touchpoints.
