Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Representative Sales – Cosmetics to join our fast‑growing contract manufacturing (maklon) company. This role serves as the primary bridge between our production facilities and brand‑owner clients in the cosmetics, skincare, and broader FMCG personal‑care sectors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a mobile, client‑facing environment, possess a solid understanding of the end‑to‑end product development cycle, and demonstrate a persuasive, solution‑oriented approach to sales.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between the company and customers, ensuring clear communication throughout the product development journey.
  • Conduct introductory meetings with new clients to explain our maklon processes, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Regulatory Officer to facilitate product notification, halal certification, and compliance with BPOM standards.
  • Work closely with the R&D department to coordinate sample trials, formulation adjustments, and packaging design approvals.
  • Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing teams to meet agreed‑upon delivery dates.
  • Prompt customers to settle invoices for product development, notification, and certification services.
  • Review purchase orders (POs) for accuracy before forwarding them to Finance & Accounting.
  • Manage the logistics of raw‑material consignment and packaging material transfers to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Partner with the Warehouse team to arrange timely shipment of finished goods to clients.
  • Address customer complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate department and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Inform clients of any product alerts, recalls, or regulatory warnings issued by the Ministry of Health (BPOM).
  • Distribute and collect customer satisfaction surveys to gauge service quality and identify improvement areas.
  • Implement departmental workflows in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in cosmetics maklon, skincare, or FMCG personal‑care industries.
  • Strong understanding of the cosmetics manufacturing value chain—from concept to mass production.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently for client visits, trade shows, and meetings.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and basic market analysis techniques.
  • Adaptability, problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to interpret technical product specifications.
