Introduction

PT. Serba Mulia AUTO, an authorized Daihatsu dealer, is a leading player in the automotive sales and after‑sales market in East Kalimantan. As the company continues to expand its footprint in Balikpapan, we are looking for energetic and results‑driven professionals to join our team as Consultant – After‑Sales Services. This role bridges the gap between our customers and the dealership, ensuring that every vehicle purchase is followed by a seamless ownership experience. The successful candidate will be based in Balikpapan and will work closely with both the sales floor and the service department to drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for post‑sale customer inquiries, handling everything from warranty claims to service appointment scheduling.
  • Coordinate with the service workshop to ensure timely resolution of repairs, parts ordering, and maintenance reminders.
  • Track and analyze after‑sales metrics such as service revenue, customer satisfaction scores, and repeat visit rates, presenting insights to management on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns (phone, SMS, email, and social media) to promote routine maintenance, special service promotions, and extended warranty upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the dealership’s CRM system, ensuring all interactions are logged and follow‑up tasks are assigned.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross‑selling opportunities, such as accessories, insurance products, and financing options.
  • Provide training and coaching to junior staff on effective communication, negotiation techniques, and the use of digital marketing tools.
  • Uphold the dealership’s service standards, adhering to Daihatsu’s brand guidelines and ensuring compliance with local consumer protection regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: up to 35 years.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome.
  • At least 1 year of experience in automotive sales, after‑sales support, or a related customer‑facing role.
  • Valid driver’s license (SIM) and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on honesty and discipline.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (social media platforms, email automation) and negotiation techniques.
  • Ability to work under target‑driven environments and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to Balikpapan.
