We are seeking a dynamic Consumer Research & Development Lead to join our growing team in the Kabupaten Grobogan region. Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end product development initiatives, from concept generation through prototyping, testing, and final launch.
- Conduct comprehensive consumer research, including surveys, focus groups, and market trend analysis, to identify unmet needs and emerging opportunities.
- Calculate and monitor material consumption for each product line, ensuring optimal use of resources while maintaining cost targets.
- Perform detailed analyses of production processes, identifying bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for lean improvements.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and marketing—to align product specifications with business objectives.
- Prepare and present clear, data‑driven reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of product specifications, research findings, and process changes in accordance with company standards.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, accuracy, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the development cycle.
- Travel to supplier sites, manufacturing facilities, and customer locations as needed to gather insights and validate product performance.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of material consumption calculations and cost‑control methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail in material analysis and production process evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data‑analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to be based in Kab. Grobogan and travel locally as required.
- Preferably 2–4 years of experience in product development, consumer research, or a related area, though strong candidates with less formal experience will also be considered.
