Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Dosen Pendidikan Profesi NERS to join our faculty in Palembang, South Sumatra. This full‑time academic position is ideal for passionate nursing professionals who wish to contribute to the development of future nurses through high‑quality teaching, research, and community engagement. Responsibilities

  • Deliver undergraduate and professional nursing courses using modern pedagogical methods, including blended and online learning.
  • Design, update, and evaluate curricula to ensure alignment with national nursing standards and the latest evidence‑based practices.
  • Guide students in clinical practicum placements, supervising patient care activities and providing constructive feedback.
  • Conduct original research in nursing education, clinical practice, or health policy, and publish findings in reputable journals.
  • Participate in faculty committees, contribute to accreditation processes, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior lecturers and graduate students, fostering professional growth and scholarly development.
  • Engage with local healthcare institutions and community organizations to promote health education programs and collaborative projects.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, prepare grading reports, and ensure compliance with university regulations.
  • Stay current with advances in nursing science, educational technology, and regulatory changes affecting the profession.

Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Graduated from a recognized Nursing Professional Education program (Pendidikan Profesi NERS) or hold a Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Underlying academic background of D3 or S1 Nursing.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 for S1 and 3.5 for S2 from a BAN‑PT accredited university.
  • Degree field must be directly related to the teaching position (linear with expertise).

Personal and Professional Attributes

  • Open to long‑term commitment and willing to reside permanently in Palembang.
  • No current employment as a civil servant (PNS) or permanent staff at another institution.
  • Understanding of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (teaching, research, community service).
  • Clean legal and financial background – no prior criminal issues, unresolved debts, or employment disputes.
