Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the Majalengka Raya region, promoting Amartha’s micro‑loan programs and explaining eligibility criteria.
  • Conduct comprehensive household economic assessments, gathering data on income, expenses, assets, and repayment capacity.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies, risk standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendation documents for the credit underwriting team, highlighting strengths and potential risks.
  • Facilitate the full loan disbursement process, including documentation collection, verification, and coordination with the operations department.
  • Manage the collection cycle by contacting borrowers, negotiating repayment schedules, and following up on overdue accounts while maintaining respectful client relationships.
  • Provide ongoing financial coaching and mentorship to borrowers, helping them develop budgeting skills, improve cash flow, and expand their businesses.
  • Maintain accurate field records in Amartha’s digital platform, updating client profiles and transaction histories in real time.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders, cooperatives, and NGOs to build trust and foster a supportive ecosystem for micro‑entrepreneurs.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, share best practices with teammates, and contribute ideas for improving field operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
  • All genders are welcome; women are preferred but not required.
  • Own reliable motor vehicle or transportation means to travel daily across the assigned area.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to build rapport with diverse community members.
  • Resilience and toughness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and manage a demanding schedule.
  • Basic digital literacy – comfortable using mobile apps and data entry tools for loan processing.
  • No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or finance is advantageous.
