Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Bahasa Jepang – Pengajar Profesional Bahasa Jepang to join our dynamic language institute. As a Japanese language instructor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding learners of all ages and backgrounds toward fluency, cultural awareness, and confidence in using Japanese for personal, academic, or professional purposes. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Japanese language lessons for beginners to intermediate learners, aligning with the institute’s curriculum standards.
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, as well as cultural nuances such as etiquette, traditions, and contemporary media.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and written assignments, providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom atmosphere, fostering mutual respect and active participation.
- Utilize multimedia resources, interactive technology, and authentic materials (e.g., Japanese news, videos, podcasts) to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and curriculum designers to continuously improve course content and teaching methodologies.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as language clubs, cultural workshops, and conversation practice sessions.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grade books, and reporting documentation in accordance with institute policies.
- Participate in regular professional development sessions, seminars, and language proficiency assessments.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education in Japanese language, linguistics, or education is a strong advantage.
- Age: up to 28 years old.
- Open to all genders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese (N5‑N3 level minimum; higher proficiency preferred).
- Demonstrated responsibility, discipline, and honesty in professional settings.
- Passion for teaching and ability to inspire confidence in learners.
- Basic proficiency in instructional technology (e.g., virtual classrooms, learning management systems).
- Experience in language instruction is a plus, but fresh graduates with strong motivation are encouraged to apply.
